About Me

I started sewing at a very young age. During the summer as a child, I spent a lot of time with my maternal grandmother, Judy, who was an avid crafter and quilter. And since she was sewing a lot of the time I was with her, I wanted to sew too! She took my sister and me to her local quilt shop on a weekly basis, as it was a part of her routine, and from there we were able to take classes and learn the basics of sewing.

Flash-forward to spring of 2020 and we’re all stuck at home during the beginning of the pandemic. This time at home allowed me to rekindle my interest in sewing and, my goodness, that kindling turned into a raging bonfire! I dove head first into many projects, no matter the technique or skills required! But during this time, I realized I loved piecing but didn’t love quilting on my domestic sewing machine.

So I bought a longarm machine, of course!

Since purchasing a longarm, I’ve found so much joy in finishing projects! From loading the quilt onto the frame to picking the pantograph, I love every step of the process of longarm quilting! It has been a joy to learn this trade and finish so many projects. I would love to work with you and bring this level of joy to your projects!
